Musical director

carol_donaldson

Our musical director since January 2010 has been Carol Donaldson. Carol has led choirs for 16 years, and is a member of the Natural Voice Network. She also runs the Open Voice choir in Manchester, Melody Macs for MacMillan’s Wellbeing Centre, the NW Stroke Association Choir, Christies Hospital Choir, Manchester and Wrexham Community Choir in her home town in North Wales.

She enjoys singing at demos, for causes and community events. She has composed music for theatre, and occasionally TV, for over 25 years, most recently shows for The Dukes in Lancaster, and a new musical called Dreamers for Oldham Coliseum, for whom she’ll be writing a new musical in Spring 2017.

Her approach to singing is very inclusive, aiming to create beautiful, relevant songs whilst make the process fun, uplifting and exciting along the way.
