The June Harmony Open Mic was a roaring success, loads of new acts, huge audience, great atmosphere, a charming compere and some fantastic harmony singing. Singing groups from Leeds, Huddersfield and Lancaster have now found us and like us !
Below are some pics to give you a flavour of the variety.
Several people have said they find Sunday evenings tricky, we listened and have switched Harmony Open Mic to a Saturday evening. Same time and place. Many people have also told us that they much prefer harmony singing to solo artists, we listened to this too and from now on we would like harmony acts with at least 2 singers only please. Sorry! but we hope solo singers will understand that with Harmony Open Mic getting so popular we have to limit it to its original purpose.
