We went to Streetchoirs in Whitby in July 2009 and had a great time. Look - Captain Cook was wearing an unusual hat to greet us. On Friday night we were entertained by, among others, most of the Watersons.

The rest of Saturday we sang. And sang. And sang. En masse...

In the afternoon we busked on the streets of Whitby. Some of us even found a little time to relax...

In the evening we were first on for the concert. In front of 600-odd people. It was nerve-racking, just the seven of us. Even our best friends said we did pretty well: with Ali Burns' 'This great sky' and 'Mamunya', song and chant. Hey!

And there was a final picnic on the beach on Sunday. What a beautiful weekend.
